Advanced Building Analysis is bringing local expertise in energy auditing to the Lower Merrimack Valley, the North Shore of Boston and the New Hampshire Seacoast areas.  Advanced Building Analysis is a proud partner of ENERGY STAR and a member of RESNET.

Mike Browne holds a B.S. in Material Science and Engineering from Brown University. Mike worked in traditional woodworking and then architectural woodworking and CNC programming for 10 years.  Returning to engineering, Mike then studied for and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Test and completed the training and certification for RESNET energy raters.  As more and more energy efficiency alternatives become available, Mike is excited to be able to help local builders and home owners quantify their options and take advantage of the best construction practices and the best funding assistance programs available(tax credits, rebates, grants and energy efficient mortgages).  Mike is a RESNET certified Energy Rater and has trained in Infrared Imaging at the world training headquarters of FLIR in Billerica, MA.  For more on the capabilities of Infrared see FLIR's website.

Paul W. Panish holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University. He worked for 30 years in various high tech fields ranging from Semiconductor Materials Research and Electronic Circut Design to Communications, Software Engineering, and Software Engineering Management. Paul became interested in Solar Cell Technology while engaged in semiconductor research and combined this interest with building science when, in the mid-90's, he designed and helped build his off-grid passive solar home in Barrington, New Hampshire. Paul has been an active participant in the NESEA Tour of Solar Homes since 1998. As energy and environmental issues were recognized as being of greater importance nationwide, Paul made a decision to join Advanced Building Analysis as an Energy Rater where he could make effective use of the experience he has gained over the years in efficient design.

Gail Browne holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and a Masters in Computer Science from Boston University.  Gail oversees the office, finances, and community involvement.
